Allen's Jewelers has been my family's go-to jewelry store for anything important, and now I really understand why. I was nervous about the process of looking for an engagement ring before I started, but I knew when I walked in and started talking to Lauren that we would be able to find something perfect. They had a fantastic selection of rings and Lauren really took the time to understand what I and my now-fiancée were looking for. She asked important questions the whole time and I never felt like she was pushing me one way or another, just showing me what options were available. I've had a watch in my car for months, needing to replace a battery and on a Saturday afternoon while in Cotswold I decided to search battery replacement and this hidden gem popped up.
I placed a call to confirm their location and hours, being it was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and most places like this aren't open that late...they were!

I arrived shortly after and was greeted with a smile. Funny though the woman asked were you the one who just called, loved it. They buzzed me in, as all their jewelry is behind a gated door, and within 10 minutes my battery was replaced.
Service was on point and while checking out I was told about what they offer, I asked a few questions about some things I'm considering with some jewelry and they seem like they are willing to accommodate things with real and even costume jewelry.

I definitely will be back!!

We love Allen's! My fiance's coworker recommended Allen's, so he got my engagement ring sized there and thought they were incredibly nice and their prices were very reasonable. I came here to get my engagement ring resized. My fianc purchased it from New Zealand, so I was looking for a local jeweler who I could use to clean it and tighten the prongs periodically as well.

I was recently gifted a diamond from my late grandmother and did not love the original setting. I brought it in to Allen's and they took their time looking at the stone, going through setting options with me, even offering to put custom adjustments in a chain that I chose (three because I'm indecisive). I also brought in my very bent wedding band that also needed a size adjustment. They cleaned and inspected my wedding rings while we discussed my setting options for my necklace. To top it all off, both pieces were completed in less than one week! Lauren and her mom were so friendly and remembered me when I came back in to pick up my items. I have recently found this shop! The staff is friendly, service is prompt, and the selection is very impressive. My first interaction with this shop was trying to replace a watch band. Though we could not locate the correct size band (old watch that I refuse to part ways with!) I received great advice on how to seek out the best solution.
While there, I was lucky enough to strike up conversation with Karen, who showed me an extensive selection of Opals and Sapphire that my wife would die for! She was gracious enough to educate me on the varying shades of Opals, so I now have new ideas for birthdays and anniversary gifts!
This shop may be a bit off the beaten path compared to some of the other independent stores in town, but well worth the effort to find.

What an amazing experience, from start to finish, with the wonderful folks at Allen's jewelers. My (now) fianc and I had been ring shopping at a handful of big box type stores, and constantly felt we were being pushed by the sales people into a ring that we didn't want. My experience with Allen's Jewelers is a perfect case study of how a 30-year-old jewelry neophyte (male) becomes a raving fan and life-long customer from one experience.

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Allen's Jewelers and couldn't have asked for a better overall experience (and reaction from my fiance).

This is what was important to me:
(1). I wanted my fiance to looooove her ring, not just love her ring.
(2). Quality was non-negotiable.
(3). I wanted/needed to stay within my budget.
(4). I wanted to buy a diamond that I was proud to give my fiance. Men can be prideful (shocker).

Karen and Lauren knocked it out of the park; better than I ever could have expected. I catch my fiance looking at her ring alllll the time and it puts a huge smile on my face. There are bigger diamonds out there; there are smaller diamonds. There are more expensive rings; there are less expensive. Karen and Lauren helped me design the perfect ring for my fiance. Absolutely perfect. And that's exactly what I was looking for.

What I appreciated the most was having 4-5 great options to choose from. When you have realllly good options that all fit your criteria you can then focus on the subtleties that make your final choice the perfect decision. This peace of mind is priceless in my opinion. People from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and even New York told me to go to Allen's Jewelers. It was pretty much unanimous. Crazy, right? I know. You'll know why when you go there.

I took my wedding ring in for an appraisal and rhodium replating, a right hand ring for resizing and two watches for batteries. Over the years the center stone on my wedding ring began to darken and loose it's brilliance, probably due to some around the house project I had done. Karen the owner and her daughter Lauren were so personable and professional, I knew I was at the right place. When I picked up my wedding ring I could not believe this was my ring, it was beautiful! I am so glad that I found this place, what a great location! I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them!

Just picked up a necklace left to repair. It was nothing grandiose or distinguished; a small sterling silver necklace. For a minimal price not only were we met with distinguished service, but they treated my repair with care and personal interest. They even called a day sooner than they'd expected it finished!

I just moved to Charlotte, so I really didn't know where to find a jewelry store which could size a pair of ring. Im so glad I decided to walk in to Allen's which is across the street from my office. They said they would size the ring and I would never know where they would make the cut. and I might add this, the ring belong to my parents and give them to my wife and I to wear after they had them for fifty years.
What an outstanding jewelry store. The rings have flowery design on them and to different type of metals. Allan's had to cut and add a piece to my ring and add to dates to the inside of the bands. What a great job.

There is a reason that Allen's was voted The Best in Charlotte in 2015! Karen and Lauren are wonderful. They really treated my fiance and me like family as we went through the process of selecting wedding bands. When our bands ending up coming on at different times, they even personally delivered the second band directly to our home! Talk about customer service!!

If this is how all non-chain jewelers are supposed to treat clients...the rest of them need to take lessons from the folks at Allen Jewelers. From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I was treated like I was the most special person in their world - and I was only there for a tiny watch repair.

I recently purchased a watch and could not figure out how to take out the links to make it fit better so I was in the market for a jeweler who could accommodate this. You'd be surprised how tough that is! When I called Allen's Jewelers, Lauren answered the phone. She was nice, polite and seemed eager to help me with whatever I needed. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted warmly and told that it would be just a few minutes. The watch repair guy was on site and was able to fix it immediately. They made sure the link removal was even on each side and that it fit to my specifications. When I paid (a very reasonable $15), Karen offered to put me on their email list to let me know of any upcoming sales. By the time I left, I felt like I had been dealing with them for years. It was an all-around enjoyable experience!

I'm not a consistent purchaser of jewelry but I am pretty positive that they will be my first stop when looking for anything in the future. I highly recommend them!

Right across the street from Harris Teeter at Cotswold. It's worth seeking out because they have selections I just haven't been able to find anywhere else in Charlotte. And the friendliest family run shop you will find.

Definitely worth the trip! Or multiple trips for those special times of the year!
